Description:
The Staffing Manager plans, organizes and directs operational and administrative activities that support the adequate staffing for the department of nursing; provides administrative and managerial responsibilities for float and agency personnel; supports all departments (i.e., Emergency Department (ED), Surgical Services, Nursing Units, Admitting, Critical Care, Administration) by providing a centralized and coordinated approach to patient placement; has the authority to enact decisions on an immediate basis; gathers ongoing data for both retrospective and prospective review; develops systems to facilitate timely patient placement.
Qualifications:
RN Licensure in the State of Missouri
Preferred Education: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
Minimum Experience: 3 years clinical experience
Preferred Experiences: Management Experience
Working Conditions: May be exposed to the risk of blood borne diseases.
Exposure to unpleasant elements (accidents, injuries, and illness). Subject to varying and unpredictable situations. Handles emergency and crisis situations. Subject to irregular hours.
