POSITION SUMMARY:
The Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse is a professional nurse who coordinates the delivery of nursing care for critically ill, post operative, ventilator, post cardiac arrest and other critically ill patients in the Intensive Care unit. The Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse participates in patient and family teaching, provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensure/certification/registration: Current RN licensure in the State of Texas / CPR Certification
Experience Required: Must have ACLS within 18 months after commencement of employment.
Experience Preferred: Bilingual: English/Spanish
