Description:
Assists in all aspects of the month-end close process including but not limited to, preparing journal entries; reviewing general ledger balances; income and expense analysis; report generation and distribution; other duties as assigned. Responsible for timely completion of all balance sheet reconciliations, including cash bank account reconciliations and all clearing accounts. Assists with the preparation of cost report and tax return workpapers and budgeting process. Assists with special projects and other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, at least 3 years of directly related health care experience, and related software applications. Ability to work in Microsoft Excel pivot tables is a plus. Previous management/supervisory experience is also a plus. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and management.
